The reporter learned from the Qinghai Provincial Health Commission that 14 departments including the Qinghai Provincial Health Commission, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and the Provincial Department of Finance have jointly issued the "Key Task Division Plan for Implementing the Implementation Plan of the Major Project of Traditional Chinese Medicine Revitalization and Development in Qinghai Province" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"). The Plan specifies that by the end of 2025, China and Tibet will achieve coordinated development in various fields such as medicine, prevention, health care, education, scientific research, industry, culture, and foreign exchanges. The revitalization and development of China and Tibet's medicine will have achieved significant results and will play a unique advantage in the construction of a healthy Qinghai. The Plan closely follows the implementation of a series of key tasks proposed in the Notice of the General Office of the State Council on Issuing the Implementation Plan for the Major Project of Traditional Chinese Medicine Revitalization and Development in Qinghai Province. It proposes seven major projects, including the High Quality Development Project of Chinese and Tibetan Medicine Health Services, the Collaborative Promotion Project of Chinese and Western Medicine and Tibetan Western Medicine, the Inheritance, Innovation and Modernization Project of Chinese and Tibetan Medicine, the Training Project of Chinese and Tibetan Medicine Characteristic Talents, and the Open Development Project of Chinese and Tibetan Medicine, with 19 key tasks. The division of tasks is clarified to ensure implementation. The Plan insists on attaching equal importance to both Chinese and Tibetan medicine, takes "inheriting the essence, maintaining integrity and innovation" as the main line, and takes ensuring the health of the people as the starting point and foothold. It proposes to accelerate the construction of national regional medical centers of traditional Chinese medicine, improve the professional level of Chinese and Tibetan medicine, and achieve full coverage of community health service centers and Chinese and Tibetan medical centers in township hospitals by the end of 2025. 30 public Chinese and Tibetan medical hospitals will establish rehabilitation departments, carry out pilot projects for the prevention and control of myopia in children and adolescents using suitable techniques for Chinese and Tibetan medicine, and promote suitable techniques for maternal and child health in Chinese and Tibetan medicine. Promote the construction of geriatric medicine departments in Sino Tibetan medical hospitals at or above the second level, and carry out prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation nursing for geriatric diseases and related chronic diseases. Build 1 to 2 internet hospitals for Chinese and Tibetan medicine, gradually establishing a hospital information system that reflects the characteristics of Tibetan medicine. Promote the integrated medical model of Chinese and Tibetan medicine with mechanisms, teams, measures, and effectiveness in comprehensive hospitals, and incorporate Chinese and Tibetan medicine into a multidisciplinary consultation system. Gradually establish a multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment system for Sino Tibetan and Western medicine in comprehensive hospitals, specialized hospitals, and maternal and child health hospitals, carry out joint research and development of Sino Tibetan and Western medicine for major difficult diseases, infectious diseases, chronic diseases, etc., and fully promote the high-quality development of Sino Tibetan medicine in Qinghai Province through inheritance and innovation.
