In the fourth quarter of 2023, the development index of small and medium-sized enterprises was 89.1, a slight decrease of 0.1 points compared to the previous quarter. From the perspective of industry specific indices, the main factors driving the rise of the index are: firstly, consumer rebound, and service consumption becoming an important support for driving the growth of the index throughout the year. Second, the restorative growth of fixed assets investment led to the recovery of the index. With the construction of some infrastructure and manufacturing investment projects starting one after another, especially through the national unified information release platform to promote projects to private capital, the construction industry index has risen by 1.3 points, becoming an important force supporting the index's rise. The flourishing development of high-tech industries such as information services has become an important driving force for enterprise transformation and upgrading. The information transmission computer service software industry index has risen by 1.1 points in the past year. Fourthly, industry remains the cornerstone of stable development for small and medium-sized enterprises. Both production and demand have increased, and performance has gradually improved, with the industrial index rising by 1.1 points throughout the year. From the perspective of sub indices, firstly, corporate confidence is gradually recovering. The macroeconomic sentiment index has risen by 2.2 points in the past year, with the highest increase. The investment index has risen by 1.4 points in the past year, indicating a recovery in investment confidence. The proportion of enterprises reflecting the positive growth of fixed assets investment increased by 3 percentage points over the previous year; The proportion of enterprises reflecting an increase in technology investment has increased by 3 percentage points compared to the previous year.
