The first patriotic education exhibition hall among the people of Hong Kong officially opened in Xintian, Hong Kong on the 1st, aiming to provide a platform for understanding and learning about patriotic history, showcasing Hong Kong's patriotic practices with detailed historical literature, enhancing social cohesion and the sense of identity of Hong Kong compatriots towards their motherland. This exhibition hall is jointly planned by the Hong Kong High Talent Service Association and the Ying Jie Museum, and is located in the settlement of the descendants of patriotic national hero Wen Tianxiang. Through more than 200 precious historical documents, photos, and physical exhibits, it showcases Hong Kong's century long patriotic practice, aiming to deepen patriotic education among various groups in Hong Kong. The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Yang Runxiong, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech, stating that the Patriotic Education Exhibition Hall responded to the country's expectations for promoting patriotic education and played a positive role in promoting patriotism. The Hong Kong SAR government will also establish a special museum to introduce national achievements and development, promoting patriotic education. Shang Hailong, founding president of the Hong Kong High Talent Service Association, stated that the first day of the implementation of the Patriotic Education Law of the People's Republic of China will be on the 1st, and the Patriotic Education Exhibition Hall will be launched on that day, hoping to promote the development of patriotic education in Hong Kong.
