The Central Conference on Foreign Affairs was held in Beijing from December 27th to 28th. Li Qiang, Zhao Leji, Wang Huning, Cai Qi, Ding Xuexiang, and Li Xi, members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, and Vice President Han Zheng attended the meeting. The meeting believes that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, in the great journey of promoting the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, historic achievements and changes have been made in foreign work. Secondly, it showcases the distinctive Chinese characteristics, style, and demeanor of China's diplomacy, and establishes a confident, independent, open-minded, and inclusive image as a major country. Thirdly, advocating the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind has pointed out the correct direction for common development, long-term stability, and mutual learning among civilizations in human society. The fourth is to adhere to the leadership of the head of state's diplomatic strategy and play an increasingly important and constructive role in international affairs. The fifth is to comprehensively manage relations with all parties and promote the construction of a pattern of major country relations characterized by peaceful coexistence, overall stability, and balanced development. Sixth, we have expanded our comprehensive strategic layout and formed a global partnership network with a wide range and high quality. Seventh, we promoted the high-quality co construction of the "the Belt and Road" and built the world's largest international cooperation platform. Eight is to coordinate development and security, and effectively safeguard national sovereignty, security, and development interests with firm will and tenacious struggle. The ninth is to actively participate in global governance and lead the direction of international system and order change. The tenth is to strengthen the centralized and unified leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and consolidate the pattern of great coordination in external work. The meeting emphasized that in the past decade of the new era, we have experienced many ups and downs in our foreign work, overcome various difficulties and challenges, and created a new situation in China's diplomacy as a major country with Chinese characteristics. The strategic autonomy and initiative of China's diplomacy have significantly increased. China has become a responsible major country with greater international influence, innovative leadership, and moral appeal. The meeting pointed out that in the practice of diplomatic work in the new era, we have accumulated a series of valuable experiences. We must adhere to principles, take a clear and firm stance on major issues related to the future and destiny of humanity and the direction of world development, firmly occupy the international moral high ground, and unite to strive for the majority of the world. We must demonstrate the responsibility of a major country, uphold the spirit of independence and autonomy, lead peaceful development, and promote world stability and prosperity. It is necessary to establish a systematic concept, grasp the overall situation, coordinate and take initiative with a correct historical and overall perspective.
