On December 27th, the first stop of the "Love Youth, Beauty Together" campus health campaign initiated by the Chinese Red Cross Foundation and Medtronic (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd. was held at the Second Experimental School in Qixingguan District, Bijie City, Guizhou Province. Yu Wei, Vice President of Medtronic Greater China Regional Growth Initiative, Chen Bihua, Senior Director of the Life Education Project Office of the Chinese Red Cross Foundation, Ma Yongyi, Member of the Party Group and Secretary General of the Bijie Red Cross Society, and others participated in the event. Training mentors and volunteers from Medtronic conducted a public welfare course on first aid knowledge and skills for nearly 40 students at the school. In class, the training instructor provided students with detailed emergency treatment methods for common sudden diseases and injuries in adolescents and children, such as nosebleeds, hypoglycemia, airway foreign body obstruction, fractures, and cardiac arrest, through scenario simulation, interactive teaching, and personal experience. They also guided students to practice and master emergency skills such as Heimlich first aid, fracture fixation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and the use of AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) one by one, Help everyone raise their awareness of risk prevention, enhance their ability to self rescue and mutual assistance, and firmly establish the concept of "cherishing life" and "putting life first". In order to safeguard the safety and physical health of young people and children, in recent years, the Chinese Red Cross Foundation has assisted in the construction of the Boai School Medical Room, helping primary and secondary schools in underdeveloped areas to improve their basic conditions for health protection. At the same time, it has carried out various forms of health testing, safety education and other activities for schools. Next, the "Love Youth, Beauty and Strength Together" campus health activity will also be held in multiple locations, helping more primary and secondary schools improve students' health literacy and strengthen campus safety defenses.
