In addition to regular budgets, the United Nations also prepares peacekeeping budgets. The peacekeeping budget fiscal year starts on July 1st each year, therefore the peacekeeping budget is passed during the summer. The proportion of the regular budget of the United Nations is determined based on the payment capacity of each member state. The allocation ratio of peacekeeping budget funds is adjusted based on the reference to the allocation ratio of regular budget funds.
