A "Double Hundred Action" between Guangdong universities and counties is currently underway in various parts of the province. In August of this year, Guangdong launched the "Double Hundred Action" to promote the high-quality development of 100 counties, thousands of towns, and thousands of villages through the linkage of 100 universities and 100 counties. Hundreds of universities and institutions in the province paired up with 109 agricultural counties (cities, districts) to establish close cooperative relationships and promote two-way communication and win-win cooperation. In the promotion of the "Double Hundred Action", there is a remarkable "big move": in September this year, nearly 100 universities formed the "Three Major Alliances" - the Rural Construction Planning University Alliance, the Rural Public Service University Alliance, and the Rural Industry Development University Alliance, with Guangzhou University of Fine Arts, South China Normal University, and South China Agricultural University serving as the "leaders". Over the past three months, under the leadership of the "leader" unit, the three major alliances have carried out a series of solid actions. Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts is organizing the "Guangdong Beautiful Countryside" Landscape Design Competition, receiving 803 submissions from 66 universities. At the same time, a team of experts will be formed to provide scientific and technological guidance and services to the main agricultural industries in Yangshan County, Qingyuan City, such as Yangshan chicken, silk seedling rice, and watercress, as well as Cicada tea, Lantang pig, and citrus in Zijin County, Heyuan City. Recently, the "Double Hundred Action" mobilization and training meeting for county-level assistance cadres clarified that universities must complete key tasks such as selecting and mobilizing county-level service teams, implementing a list of key projects for joint construction, and creating typical demonstration cases by the end of the year. In addition, the leading units of the alliance should fully allocate and strengthen their work force, establish an expert committee, and hold at least one alliance meeting and annual work summary meeting. Tailored pairing plan: Recently, Jinan University cafeteria launched a new dish - "Zhang Jiuling Prime Minister's Noodle" from Shixing County, Shaoguan City, with a history of over 1300 years. In the "Double Hundred Action", Jinan University has partnered with Shixing County in Shaoguan City and Boluo County in Huizhou City to jointly build a special action group implementation plan based on research, and has implemented and connected 15 projects.
