Xia Qing introduced that so far, the cumulative surplus of social security funds in the province has reached 1.8 trillion yuan, including 1.78 trillion yuan in pension insurance. "We have solved the problem of imbalance in various parts of the province, and regardless of where the insured person pays in the province, they are collected and disbursed uniformly, ensuring that social security benefits are fully distributed.". As of the end of October this year, there have been over 6 million individual pension accounts opened in Guangdong's leading regions. Xia Qing said that participating in personal pension can not only increase retirement income, but also provide significant tax incentives for insured individuals. When encountering labor disputes, one can seek the help of trade unions and arbitration institutions in the "public voice investigation" process, and citizens can reflect on their own labor rights issues. A man mentioned that employers, in order to reduce costs, have resorted to measures such as salary cuts and work stoppages to force employees to voluntarily resign. Another woman mentioned that the company used a resignation certificate as a bargaining chip to demand that employees waive compensation. "The practice of unilaterally suspending work and only paying the minimum wage standard without reaching an agreement with employees is not compliant. Huang Haijing, Director of the Labor Relations Department of the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and a first level researcher, believes that workers who believe their legitimate rights and interests have been harmed can make interest claims and protect their legitimate rights and interests through labor supervision or arbitration.".
