The general election is an internal affair of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The international community should fully respect the sovereignty and leadership of the Democratic Republic of Congo, encourage all parties to resolve their differences through dialogue and consultation, and avoid interfering in the internal affairs of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Dai Bing said that the security situation in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo remains severe. Armed groups such as the M23 movement continue to launch attacks, causing casualties and displacement. The Chinese side supports the joint action of the Congolese military and the United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO), urging armed groups such as the M23 Movement to immediately cease fire and stop violence, and withdraw from the occupied areas. The situation in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo involves overall regional security. The international community should support the Nairobi and Luanda processes, and support relevant countries in resolving differences through dialogue and consultation.
