The closing ceremony of the Military Medicine Special Session of the Third Forum on China Africa Peace and Security, reported by Wang Di and journalist Zhang Dan: The Military Medicine Special Session of the Third Forum on China Africa Peace and Security has recently concluded. The theme of this conference is "Strengthening Exchange and Cooperation, Safeguarding the Health of Soldiers". Leaders and medical experts from the health departments of the Chinese military and 14 African countries participated in the conference to jointly study and explore methods and measures to strengthen military medical cooperation between China and Africa and jointly address challenges in the medical and health field. Under the current international situation, military forces of various countries are playing an increasingly important role in diversified military operations, medical support, and humanitarian medical rescue. During this conference, the attending representatives discussed topics such as "modern military medical system and information construction", "military trauma treatment system and technology", "military health system construction and talent cultivation". Chinese representatives at the meeting shared the achievements of information technology construction in Chinese military hospitals, related scientific research achievements in the field of war trauma, and the experience of talent cultivation in military medical universities. Representatives from African countries gave speeches based on the current status of military medical capacity building in their respective countries, fully affirming the achievements of military medical cooperation between Africa and China. The attending representatives unanimously believe that the good experiences, practices, and ideas shared by representatives from various countries at this conference have opened up broad prospects for promoting military medical cooperation between China and Africa.
