Recently, entering the G348 Yichang urban area to the Three Gorges Dam area highway and China Geological Science Popularization Highway in Hubei, many tourists rode, camped, and took photos here. G348 Highway is the only national highway connecting the urban area of Yichang and the Three Gorges Dam, connecting the core scenic area of "Two Dams and One Gorge". Along the way, there are numerous mountains and beautiful scenery, possessing rich natural and cultural tourism resources, integrating multiple functions such as cycling and driving, geological research, and so on. At present, the construction of the highway is nearing its end. After the project is completed, it will not only highlight the transportation service function, but also drive the development of tourism and cultural resources along the route, forming an environmentally friendly industrial economic belt such as ecological sightseeing, hiking and cycling, and self driving tourism along the river, helping to revitalize the local countryside.
