It is hoped that the Russian State Duma and the National People's Congress of China will strengthen the exchange of legislative experience, give full play to the role of the special committees and friendly groups of legislators in the legislative bodies of the two countries, provide more complete legal support for bilateral cooperation, ensure the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" initiative and the Eurasian Economic Union, and deepen communication and cooperation on multilateral platforms such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, BRICS and the G20. The various parties in the Russian State Duma have a high degree of consensus in supporting the development of friendly relations with China. The Russian side firmly adheres to the One China policy and firmly supports China in safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Russian side is willing to strengthen legislative bodies and inter party exchanges and cooperation with China, actively implement the important consensus of the two heads of state, deepen people's friendship and mutual trust, provide strong legal guarantees for the sustainable development of the comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation between Russia and China in the new era, and make contributions to the development of bilateral relations.
