Recently, Guangdong held its first symposium on local legislative work in cities with districts, summarizing and exchanging the achievements and experiences of local legislative work in each city, and promoting the high-quality development of local legislative work. On November 15th, the Standing Committee of the Dongguan Municipal People's Congress held a press conference on the newly revised "Regulations on the Administration of Public Security and Fire Safety of Rental Housing in Dongguan", focusing on the overall situation and prioritizing high-quality development. Maoming focuses on promoting the "Maoming City Orange Protection Regulations", while Shanwei focuses on promoting the "Shanwei City Rural Revitalization Demonstration Belt Regulations" to promote comprehensive rural revitalization through industrial revitalization. Regarding the construction of ecological civilization, cities such as Zhongshan have implemented legislation on water environment protection, cities such as Jieyang have implemented legislation on air pollution prevention and control such as dust, and cities such as Zhaoqing have formulated regulations on urban appearance and environmental sanitation management, providing legal support for maintaining green waters, green mountains, and blue skies. To ensure and improve people's livelihoods, cities such as Foshan have formulated regulations on historical and cultural protection, while cities such as Shanwei have formulated regulations on red resource protection to meet the needs of the people for cultural inheritance and spiritual life.
