Here we go! 2024 Manned Space Mission Identification Officially Released

2023-11-20

The 2024 manned space mission logo solicitation activity has come to an end. The China Manned Space Engineering Office is now releasing the identification of four missions for the 2024 Tianzhou-7, Tianzhou-8, Shenzhou-18, and Shenzhou-19 manned missions. The design scheme explains that the "7" logo in the center of the scheme is colorful and directly connects to the distance, symbolizing that China's aerospace industry has bravely advanced on the long journey, and has written a rich and colorful stroke in the vast space; The space station looms at the end of the road, symbolizing that the Tianzhou-7 cargo spacecraft will complete docking with the space station. The border is designed using traditional Chinese cloud patterns as a classic auspicious pattern, symbolizing elevation and prosperity. Under the embellishment of countless golden stars, rolling auspicious clouds stretch and flow on both sides, escorting the Tianzhou-7 cargo spacecraft flying in the center of the picture, expressing sincere blessings for this mission. The overall color scheme uses traditional Chinese colors, with a combination of gold and jade borders and cloisonne in the center, creating a sharp contrast that is captivating. The design scheme illustrates the shining stars in the space, illuminating the long journey of the aerospace industry and leading its vigorous development. Combining the number "8" with the tail flame of the Tianzhou spacecraft, the lines are simple and highlight the theme. The red, yellow, and blue tail flames also showcase the infinite energy of Chinese astronauts and symbolize the inclusiveness of China's aerospace industry, as well as the efforts made to promote diversity and harmonious development of the world's aerospace industry. Using Chinese blue as the main color scheme, different shades of blue highlight the vastness and mystery of the universe, complemented by bright colors to showcase the infinite vitality and full energy of the aerospace industry. The design scheme explains that the logo style of this scheme is simple and modern, with a strong emphasis on technology. The main body is the Chinese space station, and the position where the Shenzhou 18 manned spacecraft is docked is highlighted with yellow lines. The task number "18" adopts a technology style design, with numbers as the background to emphasize the task sequence, improving the recognition and memory of the logo. The number of stars also corresponds to the task number. The design scheme states that it is a red, yellow, and blue circular logo composed of patterns such as the Chinese space station, the Shenzhou manned spacecraft, the Earth, and the starry sky. The number "19" incorporates elements of Chinese dragons and dances upwards. There are a total of nineteen stars around, corresponding to the manned mission of Shenzhou 19, which collectively reflect the prosperity of China's aerospace industry. You are here to witness the boundless dream and boundless pursuit of the Milky Way. Wishing the subsequent launch mission a complete success! Special note: The selection and evaluation of the scheme adopts a combination of online voting and expert evaluation to select the identification scheme for each flight mission mentioned above. Among them, considering the overall situation of the candidate identification schemes for the two manned flight missions, the identification selected for the Shenzhou 18 flight mission was optimized by the Shenzhou 19 candidate scheme.
