After the meeting, multiple government departments and park carriers, including the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Guangzhou Development Zone Investment Promotion Bureau, the Zhuhai Investment Promotion Office, and the Zhaoqing Investment Promotion Bureau, communicated and coordinated with over 100 participating enterprises. Some entrepreneurs have stated that the next step will be to enter new energy storage carriers in various cities in Guangdong for on-site inspection, exchange, and docking. It is understood that the energy storage battery industry in Guangdong Province has a good foundation, covering the entire industry chain of energy storage battery material preparation, cell and battery packaging, energy storage converters, energy storage system integration, and battery recycling. The new energy storage industry is in a leading position in the country and has global competitiveness. In 2022, the operating revenue of the new energy storage industry in Guangdong Province is about 150 billion yuan, with an installed capacity of 710000 kilowatts. In the future, Guangdong Province will follow the principle of "industrial agglomeration and optimized layout" to optimize the layout of the new energy storage battery industry, promote the industry to gather in areas with good industrial foundation, complete supporting systems, and large environmental capacity, rely on backbone enterprises to increase industrial concentration, and promote the formation of new energy storage battery industry clusters.
