Since this year, the tourism market of Dazu Rock Carvings Scenic Area, a world cultural heritage, has continued to recover. From January to October, Dazu Rock Carvings Scenic Spot received 1002900 tourists, a year-on-year increase of 358.7%, a record high in the same period. Dazu Rock Carvings, located in Dazu District, Chongqing, was built in the early Tang Dynasty and reached its peak in the Song Dynasty. Its over 50000 grotto statues represent the highest level of world grotto art from the 9th to 13th centuries, and are hailed as the last monument in the history of world grotto art.
