The second meeting of the China Iran Cultural Joint Committee was recently held in Tehran, the capital of Iran. Vice Minister of Culture and Tourism of China, Lu Yingchuan, Chairman of the Iranian Cultural and Islamic Liaison Organization, Imanipur, Vice Chairman Ruzbai, and representatives from the competent departments of cultural heritage, film and other fields of the two countries attended the meeting. Both sides reviewed the cooperation in the cultural and cultural fields between the two countries since the first meeting of the Cultural Joint Committee and exchanged views on the next steps to further deepen cooperation. After the meeting, Lu Yingchuan and Imanipur jointly signed the "Implementation Plan for Cultural and Educational Exchange between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran from 2024 to 2027", and jointly signed the meeting minutes with Ruzbai. During his visit to Iran, Lu Yingchuan met with Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ismaili to exchange views on the implementation of the Global Civilization Initiative and the development of China Iran cultural relations between the two sides. In addition, Lu Yingchuan also held the first meeting of the China Iran Tourism Cooperation Professional Committee with Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Iran, Shalbafayan, to discuss bilateral tourism cooperation in depth with representatives of the Iranian tourism industry and sign meeting minutes.
