The reporter learned that the Macau Food and Drug Administration recently approved the application of Macau Jinghu Hospital for cross-border adjustment of five hospital preparations from Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. On October 25th, the first batch of traditional Chinese medicine hospital preparations were sent to Macau through the Zhuhai Port of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge, and were received by Macau Jinghu Hospital. They will be clinically applied in hospitals. It is reported that the first batch of approved five mainland Chinese medicine hospital preparations, including traditional Chinese medicine gynecological, pediatric, and orthopedic clinical medication, have been in clinical use at Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 15 years and have rich clinical experience, making them safe and effective hospital preparations. This cross-border adjustment work has opened up the channel for the cross-border use of traditional Chinese medicine hospital preparations in mainland China, and is the latest measure to achieve regulatory innovation in Guangdong and Macao. It is conducive to promoting the connection of rules and mechanisms between Guangdong and Macao, and further promoting the integration and development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry in the two regions. Yang Rongyuan, Vice President of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, stated that the hospital has relied on the clinical diagnosis and treatment experience of Chinese medicine masters and renowned traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, guided by patient needs, and developed over 300 types of hospital preparations with significant therapeutic effects and distinctive characteristics.
