Recently, the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervision Commission has released multiple reports of "top leaders" suspected of serious violations of discipline and law being investigated, involving local Party committees, governments, government departments, enterprises and institutions, Continuously releasing strong signals of serious investigation and punishment of "top leaders" for violations of discipline and law. The 'top leader' is the key among the key few, with concentrated power, significant responsibility, and important positions. They either dominate the political party or are in charge of a department, affecting the political ecology and career development of that place or department. If we are at work all day and night, honest and self-discipline, we have established a clear direction of clean and upright conduct, steadfast construction, and development, and can become a trusted "leading goose" for party members, cadres, and the people. If the power granted by the Party and the people is used for personal gain, not only will individuals fall into the abyss of corruption, but it will also undermine the atmosphere of one place and one region, affect the enthusiasm of party members and cadres to work and start businesses, and bring negative effects to the development of their local or field. From the recent cases investigated by the disciplinary inspection and supervision organs, it can be seen that many of the fallen leaders are "top leaders". In the eyes of some "top leaders", punishment or institutional "cages" are all used to regulate others, not oneself. There are also a few "top leaders" who mistakenly believe that they are the main leaders of a place or unit, and even if something goes wrong, they will be taken away. So, the heart is devoid of awe and free to do as one pleases. Objectively, there are still weak links in the supervision of "top leaders" in some places and units, lacking practical, specific, practical, and effective measures. The "top leaders" should have been the leaders of anti-corruption. If they took the lead in corruption in turn, it would be easy to have a catalytic and chain reaction, which would lead to corruption in a systematic, regional and collapsing manner and damage the progressiveness and purity of the Party. Therefore, the key is to grasp the "top leader", and if the "top leader" is well supervised, the main contradictions and aspects of contradictions will be grasped.
