Objectively, there are also many difficulties and problems that need to be further addressed. Covering 11 provinces and cities along the Yangtze River, spanning from east to west, connecting north and south, and connecting to rivers and seas, the Yangtze River Economic Belt accounts for half of the country's population and economic output. The Yangtze River Economic Belt is the center of gravity and vitality of China's economy, and should play an important role in implementing new development concepts, constructing new development patterns, and promoting high-quality development. To further promote the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the key is to adhere to the national "one game of chess", strive to recite the "common" formula, and form a high-quality overall development force through high-level coordination and linkage. Consultation is a prerequisite. The Yangtze River Economic Belt is connected by water, connecting upstream and downstream, left and right banks, main and tributaries, and rivers and lakes, making it a complete natural, economic, and social system. Provinces and cities along the Yangtze River should enhance their systematic thinking, effectively play the role of inter provincial consultation and cooperation mechanisms, and avoid "singing their own tune". We need to deepen the market-oriented reform of factors, improve basic systems such as property rights protection, market access, fair competition, and social credit, and deepen the construction of a unified large market. Improve cross regional, cross departmental, and cross level data information sharing and process interconnection, deepen government service cooperation, and optimize the business environment. Co governance is fundamental. The Yangtze River is an important ecological treasure trove and biological gene treasure trove in China, as well as the river with the richest water volume. The ecological status of the Yangtze River Economic Belt is prominent. In the long run, promoting the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt fundamentally relies on the high-quality ecological environment of the Yangtze River Basin. The concept of "ecological priority and green development" holds a leading position in promoting high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. We must unwaveringly adhere to the principle of jointly focusing on large-scale protection and not engaging in large-scale development, and make greater efforts in high-level protection. Improve the horizontal ecological protection compensation mechanism and stimulate the enthusiasm of the entire basin to participate in ecological protection. Co construction is the foundation. Various types of transportation modes are gathered along the Yangtze River channel. It is necessary to plan and construct regional transportation infrastructure as a whole, accelerate the construction of comprehensive three-dimensional transportation corridors, strengthen the interconnection of transportation networks and the interconnection of transportation modes such as "public transportation, water transportation, and railway", and improve the level of regional transportation integration. Sharing is the key. There are significant differences in development conditions such as resources, environment, transportation, and industrial foundation between the upper, middle, and lower reaches of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and there is a significant gap in basic public service levels between regions. It is necessary to handle the relationship between self development and coordinated development, and strive to build the Yangtze River Economic Belt into an organic and integrated efficient economy, narrow the development gap, and share development achievements.
