From January to September this year, Guangdong launched a total of 950 international freight trains for China Europe, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and other directions, a year-on-year increase of 44.4%. The annual volume of trains is expected to break through the thousand train barrier for the first time. It is understood that the Guangdong Branch of the General Administration of Customs, in conjunction with the actual railway supervision work at Guangdong ports and the business characteristics of various railway stations, has studied and formulated specific support measures, established a China Europe train supervision service special team, and established an international train service special window at the front desk of relevant business sites, implementing the 7 × 24-hour appointment for customs clearance, promoting the continuous expansion and increment of Guangdong China Europe trains. According to the person in charge of the Integrated Business Office of the Guangdong Branch of the General Administration of Customs, the original "Guangdong Manchuria Russia" route has been extended to countries and regions jointly built along the "the Belt and Road". At present, it has been directly connected to about 40 cities in more than 20 countries and regions in Europe, Central Asia and Southeast Asia, including Germany, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Vietnam, etc, The operation route of China Europe (international freight) trains in Guangdong has covered five entry and exit ports in the traditional four channels of east, middle, west and south, and is increasingly becoming the golden international logistics channel for Guangdong to smooth domestic and international double circulation, which injects strong impetus into the deep participation of Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area in the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road". Guangdong is a major manufacturing province, and over 90% of the goods transported by the China Europe freight trains in Guangdong are produced and processed by enterprises in the Pearl River Delta region, making it a golden signboard for promoting the "widespread export of goods". With the support of customs, the variety of goods exported by Guangdong freight trains has continuously expanded from the earliest single low value categories such as daily necessities, clothing, toys, hardware, to high value-added goods such as white appliances, communication equipment, electronic products, and mechanical products. Since the beginning of this year, the high-tech products, communication products, and household appliances exported by China Europe freight trains under customs supervision have continued to show a significant growth trend, all of which have significantly increased by more than doubled. Recently, in order to support the stable scale and optimal structure of Guangdong's foreign trade, the customs, in response to the needs of enterprises and local advantageous industries, has collaborated with railway departments and train operation enterprises to support various train departure stations in Guangdong to successively operate international parcel trains, cross-border e-commerce trains, automobile trains, second-hand car trains, JSQ trains, cold chain trains, and other "new three types" of foreign trade goods such as new energy vehicles, and opened up export channels through the China Europe train. According to statistics, in the first three quarters of this year, customs in Guangdong Province have supervised the shipment of 12 China Europe freight trains for the export of automobiles (including new energy vehicles), providing a stable international logistics channel for Guangdong to leverage its advantages as a major automobile manufacturing province and better meet the export demand for new energy vehicles.
