China adheres to the clean and efficient utilization of coal, and has completed energy-saving and carbon reduction renovations, flexibility renovations, and heating renovations of over 520 million kilowatts of coal-fired power units, making traditional energy greener, cleaner, and more efficient. At the same time, the development of new and clean energy has been given a more prominent position, and the installed capacity of renewable energy in China has exceeded 1.3 billion kilowatts, historically surpassing coal-fired power. Under the comprehensive planning of "first establish, then break", we will promote the construction of an energy supply guarantee system driven by multiple wheels of coal, oil, gas, nuclear, and renewable energy, laying a solid foundation for energy security guarantee. Under the guidance of the "dual carbon" goal, the industrial structure continues to be optimized and upgraded. The green and low-carbon industries represented by the "new three types" of solar cells, lithium batteries, and electric manned vehicles have emerged as a new highlight of China's economic growth. In the first half of this year, the total export of the "new three sample" products increased by 61.6%, driving an overall export growth of 1.8 percentage points. At the same time, by deepening supply side structural reform and scientifically regulating crude steel production, over 40 million tons have been reduced since the 14th Five Year Plan period. Release the energy efficiency benchmark levels of key industries and key energy consuming equipment, and guide the renovation and renovation of energy conservation and carbon reduction. Strictly control the carbon emissions of new projects and resolutely curb the blind development of high energy consumption, high emissions, and low-level projects. In addition, significant achievements have been made in promoting clean and low-carbon transformation in important areas such as industrial production, construction operations, transportation, which consume energy and generate carbon emissions. In the field of construction, the proportion of newly built green building areas will increase from 77% at the end of the 13th Five Year Plan period to 91.2% in 2022; Promote the green and low-carbon transformation of existing buildings, with energy-saving buildings accounting for over 65% of the urban civil building area. In the field of transportation, we will accelerate the pace of adjusting the transportation structure. In 2022, the national railway freight volume reached 4.984 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.4%, and the waterway freight volume reached 8.554 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%. In the first eight months of this year, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 5.434 million and 5.374 million, respectively, with year-on-year growth of 36.9% and 39.2%.
