On October 5th, Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Director of the Central Foreign Affairs Office, met with Deputy Prime Minister Amar Sai Khan of Mongolia, Vice Chairman of the Nepalese Federal Council Ayar, Pakistani Foreign Minister Gilani, and Acting Foreign Minister Mutaki of the Afghan Interim Government during his attendance at the 3rd China Tibet "Himalayan Rim" International Cooperation Forum. When meeting with Amar Sai Khan, Wang Yi stated that China and Mongolia are friendly neighbors connected by mountains and rivers, sharing weal and woe. Both sides should be guided by the important consensus of the leaders of the two countries, strengthen mutual trust, strengthen communication, and promote the construction of a community with a shared future between the two countries to go deeper and deeper. Amar Sai Khan stated that Mongolia will firmly adhere to a friendly policy towards China, respect each other's core interests, and promote bilateral relations to continuously reach new heights. When meeting with Ayar, Wang Yi said that China Nepal relations have gone through the test of international changes and have become a model of equal treatment and win-win cooperation among countries of different sizes. Prime Minister Prachanda has just successfully visited China, and the leaders of the two countries have reached a series of new important consensus. China will firmly support Nepal in maintaining national independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and is willing to continue to provide assistance to Nepal's economic and social development within its capabilities. Ayar stated that Nepal is a close friend and partner of China. The Nepalese side will firmly adhere to the One China policy and will never allow any force to use Nepalese territory for any anti China activities. When meeting with Gilani, Wang Yi stated that China Pakistan relations have gone through historical trials and maintained a strong momentum of development. We look forward to further building growth corridors, livelihood corridors, innovation corridors, green corridors, and open corridors on both sides, in order to achieve high-quality development of the corridors. China is willing to share modernization opportunities with Pakistan and help it focus on achieving national development. Gilani stated that developing relations with China has always been the cornerstone of Pakistan's foreign policy. The Pakistani side will take strong measures to protect the safety of Chinese personnel, projects, and institutions in Pakistan. When meeting with Mutaki, Wang Yi said that China has always attached great importance to developing relations with Afghanistan and respects the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the country. China will continue to support Afghanistan's inclusive governance, moderate governance, good neighborly friendship, and resolute fight against terrorism. It is willing to continue to help Afghanistan develop relations with neighboring countries and better integrate into regional economic cooperation. Mottaki said that the Arab side attaches importance to its relations with China and hopes to actively participate in the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" cooperation.
