Over the past decade, each trade pilot zone has implemented the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, liberated the mind, adhered to integrity and innovation, and launched a large number of fundamental and pioneering reform and opening up measures, forming many iconic and leading institutional innovation achievements, effectively playing the role of a comprehensive experimental platform for reform and opening up. We must adhere to the comprehensive leadership of the Party, with high-level openness as the guide and institutional innovation as the core, coordinate development and security, align with international economic and trade rules with high standards, deepen institutional openness, strengthen overall reform planning and system integration, promote innovative development of the entire industrial chain, and enable the pilot free trade zone to better play a demonstration role. The symposium on the 10th anniversary of the construction of the Free Trade Zone was held in Beijing on September 26th. Planning for development requires new improvements and efforts to build a higher-level free trade pilot zone. At the symposium, officials from the Ministry of Commerce reported on the ten-year construction of the Pilot Free Trade Zone. Representatives from the Ministry of Finance, the People's Bank of China, the General Administration of Customs, and officials from Shanghai, Tianjin, Fujian, Liaoning, Sichuan, and Guangxi delivered speeches. Officials from relevant departments of the central and state organs, as well as officials from provinces, regions, and cities where 21 pilot free trade zones are located, attended the symposium.
