On September 22nd, the website of the China Securities Regulatory Commission showed that four companies, Huaxia Fund, E Fund, Southern Fund, and Huatai Bairui Fund, simultaneously reported the Science and Technology Innovation 100ETF and have received the materials. A reporter from China Securities News learned that this is the second batch of Sci Tech 100 Index products after the first four Sci Tech 100 ETFs were listed on September 15th. Since its opening four years ago, the Science and Technology Innovation Board has played a crucial role in promoting the collaborative innovation development of technology enterprises in the upstream, midstream, and downstream industries, as well as large and small enterprises, in line with the needs of new economic development. In recent years, the Shanghai Stock Exchange's ETF market has always focused on serving national strategies and technological self-reliance in product layout, continuously providing investors with rich investment tools for the Science and Technology Innovation Board, and introducing incremental funds for various specialized, refined, and new industries. As of September 2023, in terms of broad based ETFs, the Shanghai Stock Exchange has launched 8 Sci Tech Innovation 50ETFs and 2 Enhanced ETFs, with a scale of over 100 billion yuan; In terms of industry themed ETFs, a total of 6 segmented products have been laid out, including science and technology innovation board chips, new generation information technology of science and technology innovation board, and new materials of science and technology innovation board; In terms of strategic ETFs, the first two Sci Tech Innovation Growth ETFs have recently been listed. Industry insiders believe that the launch of the Science and Technology Innovation 100ETF, on the one hand, encourages more social capital to flow into technology innovation enterprises, accelerates the transformation of China's economic momentum, and is conducive to further unleashing the investment value of the Science and Technology Innovation Board; On the other hand, encourage small and medium-sized investors to participate in the Science and Technology Innovation Board investment through the ETF channel, promote more investors to share the development dividends of science and technology innovation enterprises, better assist residents in maintaining and increasing wealth, and accelerate the improvement of the effectiveness of the capital market.
