The 9th National Counterpart Support to Xinjiang Work Conference was held in Kashgar, Xinjiang from the 19th to the 21st. Wang Huning, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended and delivered a speech. Wang Huning stated that in the new era, the work of providing assistance to Xinjiang has achieved significant results and accumulated valuable experience. The relevant departments of the central government, supporting provinces and cities, and central enterprises have strengthened coordination and cooperation with Xinjiang. Wang Huning stated that counterpart assistance to Xinjiang is a national strategy and must adhere to comprehensive, precise, and long-term assistance to Xinjiang. We need to continue to deepen the employment oriented industrial assistance to Xinjiang, accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system that reflects Xinjiang's unique advantages, and promote high-quality economic development in Xinjiang. We need to continue to deepen education assistance to Xinjiang and promote the construction of a high-quality education system in Xinjiang. We need to continue to deepen the exchange and cooperation of cadres and talents, and promote the role of cadres and talents in assisting Xinjiang. We need to continue to deepen the communication, exchange, and integration of various ethnic groups, adhere to the positioning of enhancing ethnic unity and widely rallying people's hearts, and effectively solidify the sense of community of the Chinese nation through tangible and tangible means. Leaders from 19 provinces and cities, relevant central departments and units, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, prefectural and municipal divisions, and relevant departments attended the meeting. The leaders of the Central Organization Department, Central Propaganda Department, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shandong, Henan, Guangdong, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps delivered speeches at the meeting. During his stay in Xinjiang, Wang Huning also conducted research in Ili, Kashgar, Kizilsu, and the Fourth Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, visiting cadres and grassroots people who supported Xinjiang.
