Among them, the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the High Quality Development of New Energy Storage Industry in Guangdong Province" proposes that by 2027, the operating revenue of the new energy storage industry in the province will reach 1 trillion yuan, and the installed capacity will reach 4 million kilowatts, creating a new strategic pillar industry of Guangdong Province as the "manufacturing leader". From the perspective of industrial foundation, the energy storage battery industry in Guangdong Province has a good foundation, covering the entire industrial chain of energy storage battery material preparation, cell and battery packaging, energy storage converters, energy storage system integration, and battery recycling. It has a number of leading enterprises, and the new energy storage industry is in a leading position in the country with global competitiveness. In 2022, the operating revenue of the new energy storage industry in Guangdong Province is about 150 billion yuan, with an installed capacity of 710000 kilowatts Wen Ting, Director of the Energy Consulting Department of the Energy Consulting and Planning Institute of China Energy Construction Guangdong Electric Power Design and Research Institute, stated.
