Disciplinary regulations have become increasingly dense, and data and typical cases have been publicly disclosed, forming a strong deterrent. We must deeply implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the deployment of the Second Plenary Session of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, continuously deepen the joint investigation of bribery and bribery, continuously improve the accuracy and effectiveness of cracking down on bribery, and resolutely win the enduring battle against corruption. Further enhance the political stance and ideological awareness of investigating and punishing bribery. With the deepening of comprehensive strict governance of the Party, the concept of joint investigation of bribery and bribery has become increasingly popular. However, in reality, there are still some party members and leading cadres who unilaterally believe that the primary task of anti-corruption is to punish corrupt elements, and that bribery is not the focus of investigation and crackdown. According to the person in charge of the Criminal Law Department of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, there is a serious imbalance between the number of bribery cases sentenced during the same period and the number of bribery cases, and the proportion of bribe givers who have not been held criminally responsible is too high. The problem of weak punishment for bribery still exists. In this regard, we should start from the height of implementing the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, and from the practical needs of adapting to the new situation and new tasks of the anti-corruption struggle. We should have a deep understanding of the political harm of bribery crimes that seriously harm the interests of the Party and the country. We should also have a clear understanding that bribery individuals are using all means to "surround" party members and cadres, which is an important reason for the current increase in corruption. We should be more proactive and conscious in investigating and punishing bribery crimes. History and practice have proven that investigating and punishing bribery and promoting the fight against corruption not only does not affect economic development, but also helps to promote the formation of a good market economy environment and ensure the sustained and healthy development of the economy and society. Maintain high-pressure deterrence and highlight the focus of the attack. The Opinions on Further Promoting the Joint Investigation of Bribery and Bribery jointly issued by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission, in conjunction with relevant units, clarify the five key points for investigating and punishing bribery, and promote the punishment of bribery to be more targeted, precise, and effective.
