As of mid August, the tourist reception volume of Zhangye Colorful Danxia Scenic Area in 2023 exceeded 2 million, an increase of 28.45% compared to the same period in 2019, surpassing the 2 million person time mark one month earlier. The Zhangye Colorful Danxia Scenic Area is a unique colorful hilly terrain in China. According to expert research and verification, the formation and birth of colorful hills are geological relics that are non renewable and non replicable, with a geomorphic unit of millions of years.
