Currently, the development of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area has pressed the "acceleration button", and innovation and entrepreneurship vitality have emerged. In order to assist young people in entrepreneurship and employment, and promote the development of youth entrepreneurship in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, on August 31, the "2023 International Youth Entrepreneurship Society Bay Area Closed Door Seminar" was held at the International Youth Entrepreneurship Society office building in Kowloon, Hong Kong, under the guidance of "Outlook New Era" magazine (referred to as "New Society") and organized by the International Youth Entrepreneurship Society. (The 2023 International Youth Entrepreneurship Bay Area Closed-door Seminar on "Building a Dream Bay Area and the Future of Youth Entrepreneurship") The New Society President Wang Junzheng and Director Li Xialian, the Secretary General of the International Youth Entrepreneurship Society Wang Wensheng, the heads of the Operations and Executive Committees and their subordinate service sectors, as well as the heads of various regions in Hong Kong and mainland China, as well as representatives of universities in the Greater Bay Area such as Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, South China University of Technology, and other universities in the Greater Bay Area Representatives of enterprises in various fields such as architecture and literature, as well as outstanding youth representatives from the Greater Bay Area and other sectors of society attended this seminar. (On site of the 2023 International Youth Entrepreneurship Society Bay Area Closed-door Seminar on "Dream Building Bay Area · Youth Entrepreneurship Future") This seminar was themed on "Dream Building Bay Area · Youth Entrepreneurship Future". Participants had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the organizational structure, core functions, service content, business modules, and related topics of the International Youth Entrepreneurship Society, as well as youth innovation and entrepreneurship in the Greater Bay Area. In his speech, Wang Wensheng, Secretary General of the International Youth Entrepreneurship Society, stated that the Society will uphold the spirit of innovation, pragmatism, and openness, absorb talents and resources from all parties, and create an open, inclusive, co creation, and win-win friendly platform. It is committed to creating a favorable innovation environment for young entrepreneurs, providing comprehensive support and resources, and helping young entrepreneurs take root in the Greater Bay Area, Dream Building Bay Area, and Dream Fulfillment Bay Area, Injecting fresh blood into the construction of the Greater Bay Area, promoting the vigorous development and takeoff of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. Following the speech by Wang Wensheng, Secretary General of the International Youth Entrepreneurship Society, the attending guests gathered their ideas and suggestions on topics such as promoting the interconnection of resources from all sectors of society, creating a good innovation and entrepreneurship environment for international youth, promoting the linkage between government, school, and enterprise, and promoting the integration and development of various cities in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area under the "9+2" policy, in order to help youth development achieve stability and progress. The President of Hang Seng University in Hong Kong, Ho Shun wen, stated that the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao is a fertile ground for young people's innovation and entrepreneurship. Hang Seng University has established an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center to provide guidance and resource support for students and young alumni in entrepreneurship in the Greater Bay Area. However, relying solely on the strength of universities is not enough for the youth entrepreneurship industry. We hope that universities can work together with like-minded partners like the International Youth Entrepreneurship Society in the future to provide more opportunities for youth innovation and entrepreneurship, and contribute to the development of the youth entrepreneurship industry in the Greater Bay Area.
