The Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau recently issued a reminder that there are currently two ways to handle it, online and offline. Employee medical insurance insured personnel need to handle medical insurance transfer and continuation due to cross regional employment, including the transmission of personal medical insurance information records, transfer of employee medical insurance personal account funds, and processing of medical insurance benefits connection. The Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau reminds that if you choose to apply online, you need to log in to the "Beijing Medical Insurance Public Service Online Service Hall" and click "Enter Personal Network Hall". In the left column of the personal network hall, click "I want to apply", select "Employee Medical Insurance Relationship Transfer-in Application" or "Employee Medical Insurance Relationship Transfer-out Application", fill in relevant information according to the module prompts, and submit. The online processing process requires both the information systems of the new and original insured places to be connected to the national medical insurance information system. If the online application is unsuccessful or requires offline application, you can contact or go to the social security (medical insurance) agency in the insured area of this city for on-site consultation and application. It should be noted that transfer and continuation applications are subject to unified verification rules in advance. When applying, the transfer-in and transfer-out places are checked to see if they meet the transfer and continuation conditions. If they do not meet the conditions, they will not be accepted. According to a recent notice issued by the National Medical Insurance Administration, the "Basic Medical Insurance Participation Certificate" and "Basic Medical Insurance Relationship Transfer and Continuation Contact Letter" that were required to be issued during the transfer and continuation of medical insurance were cancelled. The transfer and continuation time of medical insurance was also reduced from 45 working days to 15 working days. After the application is completed, the medical insurance payment years of employees who have transferred to this city in their original employment (insurance) location shall be deemed as the medical insurance payment years of this city. The personal account storage amount shall be merged into the personal account of this city for unified management, and the insured personnel can use it according to regulations.
