After lodging, the field environment is shaded, and the nutrient transport and late filling speed of crops will slow down, thereby affecting crop growth. The shorter the waterlogging time, the greater the hope of survival and rescue of food crops. Yang Wei, a researcher at the Heilongjiang Provincial Agricultural Technology Promotion Station, stated that areas with severe waterlogging damage should increase drainage efforts, and drainage should be carried out in stages as soon as possible.
