The 2023 Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Maritime Summer Camp officially opened on the 8th at the South China Sea Maritime Patrol Law Enforcement Corps Base of the Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration. It is an important measure for the maritime departments of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao to fully implement the maritime coordinated development mechanism of the Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao Greater Bay Area. The Greater Bay Area has busy maritime traffic, active international shipping, and developed marine economy, and building a strong maritime safety defense line in the Bay Area has become a focus of society. We want to hold this event to Promote teenagers to master some knowledge of water traffic safety and environmental protection, and leverage the interaction between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao to promote the positive role of 'educating a child, influencing a family, driving the entire society, and promoting the entire Bay Area' It is understood that this event was guided by the China Maritime Safety Administration, co hosted by the Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration, the Nansha District People's Government of Guangzhou, the Maritime Safety Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the Maritime and Water Affairs Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, the Shenzhen Maritime Safety Administration, and the South China Sea Navigation Support Center. On August 8th, in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, the 2023 Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Maritime Summer Camp opened (provided by the Guangdong Maritime Safety Bureau). This summer camp was conducted through on-site research, real-life experiences, and online public classes. In the following itinerary, teenagers from the three regions will enter Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge, Shenzhen Qianhai Cooperation Zone, Guangzhou Nansha Automation Terminal, Maritime Museum, Ecological Protection Zone, and other places to systematically experience rich and diverse on-site teaching and operation courses such as safe boarding, drowning prevention skills, sailing driving, and crew training.
