The project uses internationally advanced rotary kiln technology to recycle and utilize the hazardous waste generated during the electric furnace steelmaking process - Electric Furnace Dust as raw material, in order to achieve harmless treatment of hazardous waste and regenerate zinc oxide for reuse, and to "eat dry and extract" hazardous waste, Transformed into usable general waste, there is no wastewater or waste residue generated during the project production process. The downstream application fields and sales enterprises of the product: Zinc oxide is mainly sold to downstream refining zinc enterprises for the production of zinc ingots and other products; It can also be used as an additive in industries such as tires and ceramics. After production, 110000 tons of electric furnace steelmaking dust can be recovered and processed annually, from which 40000 tons of zinc oxide can be extracted. The production process diagram of the Baifeisa electric furnace dust removal project is highly in line with the national "dual carbon" goal. At that time, the hazardous waste electric furnace dust removal generated during the electric furnace steelmaking process in Henan Province and North China will be recycled and treated, achieving industrial closed-loop circulation. At the same time, the renewable metal processing industry chain will be further extended to serve the development strategy of establishing a "waste free city" in Henan Province and North China, Contribute to China's environmental protection and circular economy. Established in 1987, the German Baifeisa Group is a global leader in the recycling of electric furnace dust and the comprehensive utilization of salt slag in the smelting industry. The European steel dust recycling business has a market share of 50-60%. Baifeisa Environmental Protection Technology (Henan) Co., Ltd. was established in 2019 and is the second recycling and processing center invested by the German Baifeisa Group in China. In 2018, Baifeisa (China) Investment Co., Ltd. was established in Nanjing and invested in the construction of three electric furnace steelmaking dust removal factories, located in Changzhou, Jiangsu, Xuchang, Henan, and Yunfu, Guangdong. The Changzhou and Xuchang factories have been put into operation, and the Guangdong Yunfu factory has completed the contract signing and is about to enter the construction phase. All factories have adopted SDHL Welz rotary kiln technology, with the core business of serving and recycling hazardous waste generated in the value chain of steel and aluminum producers, including steel dust removal ash, aluminum salt slag, and electrolytic aluminum overhaul slag, to help the Chinese steel and aluminum industry complete resource recycling, achieve complete harmless treatment of hazardous waste, and continuously contribute to the sustainable development of the environment.
