From January to July this year, the cumulative transportation of electric coal by Guangzhou Railway to the eastern region of Guangdong exceeded 6 million tons, effectively ensuring sufficient supply of electric coal for the "peak summer" season. Since the beginning of summer, Guangdong has been experiencing continuous high temperatures, and the demand for "peak summer" electric coal has continued to grow, leading to a peak in railway electric coal transportation. Guangzhou Railway Group has implemented the mechanism of ensuring the supply of electric coal, deeply implemented measures to tap into transportation potential and improve efficiency, strengthened transportation capacity guarantee, strengthened cooperation between road enterprises, and actively rushed to transport electric coal. Guangzhou Railway transports electricity and coal to the eastern region of Guangdong to ensure sufficient supply of electricity and coal during peak summer. Zhao Mingou reported that in order to meet the demand for coal in power plants and ensure industrial and residential electricity during the summer season, Guangzhou Railway Group has opened a "green channel" for coal transportation, implementing "five priority" measures for coal transportation, including priority approval, priority air distribution, priority loading, priority release, and priority unloading. The power coal of Shenneng Hehe Power Plant (Heyuan) in eastern Guangdong, Meizhou Heshuyuan Power Plant of Guangdong Baolihua Power Plant, and Guangdong Yuedian Dapu Power Plant is mainly supplied by Port of Huizhou and transferred to major power plants by railway. The railway department takes the initiative to connect with the port, implement rail water intermodal transportation, prioritize ensuring the demand for port vehicles in accordance with the standard of "one for allocation, one for backup," and ensure that the port loading operation is continuously stopped, fully utilizing the port loading capacity. In response to the blockages and difficulties that restrict the transportation of electric coal, Guangzhou Railway Group has conducted in-depth investigation and research, implemented 11 measures such as opening up the main railway transportation channels, increasing train traction tonnage, and optimizing transportation organization, fully tapping into transportation capacity; The locomotive running line of Huizhou West railway station was added to solve the problem of the interaction between the train operation and shunting operation of Huizhou Dalian Railway and the trains of Beijing Kowloon Railway, and greatly improve the transportation capacity of Huizhou Dalian Railway. Double locomotive traction is applied to the Freight train of Huida Railway, and the traction tonnage of the train is increased from 3500 tons to 4500 tons, realizing the seamless connection between Huida Line and Beijing Kowloon Line, and effectively improving the transportation efficiency; Implement electrification transformation of the northeast connecting line of the Longchuan Railway Hub, optimize the operation routes of coal direct trains on the Beijing Kowloon Line and Zhanglong Line, and compress the transportation time of coal for more than 4 hours. Each electric coal unloading station in Huizhou Depot of Guangzhou Railway Group maintains close communication and contact with the power plant, keeps track of the supply, storage, consumption, and transportation of electric coal in the power plant in real time, implements a red line warning mechanism for electric coal inventory, and initiates emergency plans for power plants with less than 7 days of electric coal inventory to implement supply guarantee measures. In order to improve the efficiency of transporting electric coal vehicles, Huizhou Depot implements the measures of "promoting loading through unloading and recycling", strengthens the unloading organization of various electric coal unloading stations, formulates unloading plans according to the "one enterprise, one policy", increases the unloading rate at night, eliminates the backlog of vehicles waiting to be unloaded, ensures fast unloading of electric coal, and provides an empty source for electric coal transportation. It is reported that since the summer, the Huizhou train depot has unloaded an average of 468 electric coal vehicles per day, and the daily coal storage capacity of the three major power plants in eastern Guangdong has remained above 1 million tons, all of which can ensure the power plant's coal consumption for more than 10 days.
