Recently, the major ports between Shenzhen and Hong Kong have been bustling with people, and "cross city consumption" has become a beautiful scenery between the two places. According to data from the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Statistics, since the beginning of this year, Shenzhen's consumption recovery has been strong, with the total retail sales of consumer goods in the city reaching RMB 50.02 billion in the first half of the year, an increase of 11.5% year-on-year. The consumption heat of "Hong Kong people heading north" continues to rise. According to data from the Hong Kong Immigration Department, approximately 4.08 million Hong Kong tourists went to Shenzhen for consumption in June this year alone. At the same time, the popularity of mainland tourists visiting Hong Kong has not decreased. "Our family travelled by car to Shenzhen North station, and then came to Hong Kong by high-speed railway, ready to take children to Hong Kong Disneyland to play." To cope with the high flow of people, Hong Kong Railway Co., Ltd. has also increased the number of short distance trains from Hong Kong West Kowloon railway station to and from Shenzhen since July 1, among which the number of trains to and from Futian station has increased to 38, and the number of trains to and from Shenzhen North station has increased to 51. It is understood that in addition to the West Kowloon Station port, the number of customs clearance personnel at other ports between Shenzhen and Hong Kong has also significantly increased.
