Recently, the management rules for intelligent connected cleaning vehicles in the policy leading area of intelligent connected vehicles in Beijing were released. Accelerating the implementation of unmanned cleaning scenarios can not only effectively alleviate the aging and labor shortage issues in the current sanitation market, but also continuously improve the duration and efficiency of operations, promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of traditional sanitation industries. It is urgent to provide supporting management measures to integrate unmanned cleaning scenes into the construction of smart and livable cities in an orderly manner. The Beijing Intelligent Networking Policy Pilot Area is the first pilot area in China aimed at managing Policy Innovations. Regarding policy initiation, framework construction, and text content, the Beijing High Level Autonomous Driving Work Office has listened to the opinions of relevant management departments and experts, established a regular communication and exchange mechanism with representative enterprises, conducted multiple rounds of enterprise research and discussions, and held multiple consultation meetings and internal discussions between management departments and experts. The relevant person in charge of Beijing Self driving Office said that the detailed rules require that products have the functions of network communication and collaborative control, providing technical support for enterprises to carry out test and demonstration according to regulations. Relevant enterprises can choose their own technology verification paths based on their own technology verification capabilities and scenario implementation needs. When conducting road testing and demonstration application activities, full consideration should be given to the daily life and commuting needs of the general public, and operations and stops should be carried out in accordance with urban operating rules, without affecting normal traffic flow.
