On the 16th, the opening ceremony and signing ceremony of the 2023 China Industrial Transfer and Development Matchmaking Activity (Inner Mongolia) with the theme of "openness, cooperation, development, and win-win" was held in Hohhot. Nearly 1600 guests from various sectors including government, industry, research, commerce, association, and banking gathered in Hohhot to discuss industrial transfer and regional cooperation and development plans. Wang Lixia, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Inner Mongolia, presided over the opening ceremony. Xu Xiaolan, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Bao Gang, Huang Zhiqiang, Yu Lixin, Duan Zhiqiang, An Runsheng, and Yang Jie, leaders of the Inner Mongolia, attended the ceremony. At the signing ceremony, 160 projects were signed with a total investment of 457.3 billion yuan, including 120 strategic emerging industries such as new materials, new energy, high-end equipment manufacturing, new chemicals, and biopharmaceuticals, with an investment of 392.2 billion yuan. The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Inner Mongolia has signed contracts with eight industry associations, including the Metallurgical Industry Information Standards Research Institute, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, the China Development Zone Association, the China Pharmaceutical Enterprise Management Association, the Ferroalloy Branch of the China Metal Society, the China Steel Structure Association, the Renewable Resources Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, and the China Rare Earth Industry Association. The Inner Mongolia Key Industry Chain Industry Development Promotion Association signed industrial development cooperation agreements with 15 provincial and municipal industry associations. At the docking activity, Shen Haoping, general manager of TCL Zhonghuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., made a keynote speech, and Huang Qunhui, director of the Institute of Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, made a keynote speech. During the docking event, four themed docking activities were organized, including the metal new material industry, new chemical industry, new energy equipment manufacturing industry, and biopharmaceutical industry.
