Recently, Qinhuangdao Port New Energy Locomotive No. 1, which is jointly produced by Hebei Port Group Qinhuangdao Port Co., Ltd. and CRRC Group and rebuilt from retired Internal combustion locomotive, was put into operation in the port area. It is reported that this locomotive is a green, low-carbon and environment-friendly pure electric Switcher with a traction capacity of 6000t, which is rebuilt from retired Internal combustion locomotive, and uses an exchangeable Lithium iron phosphate power battery pack.
