Recently, the Coal Research Institute of China Coal Science and Engineering Group, together with Shendong Coal Group, China Telecom Yulin Branch and Huawei, successfully completed the innovative verification of 5G downhole low-frequency large uplink capability, fully reflecting the progressiveness of the 5G scheme of low-frequency+large uplink in the downhole scenario, which plays an important role in exploring 5G+intelligent mine construction. This validation is the first to adopt an innovative 5G low-frequency and large uplink solution. By analyzing the transmission characteristics of underground 5G signals, the technical challenge of 5G signal transmission coverage in underground environments has been overcome. The innovative technical solution that integrates the three major features of "large uplink", "far coverage", and "stable delay" has been systematically studied and demonstrated. Large uplink, which can provide comprehensive uplink transmission capability to meet the on-site high-definition monitoring needs for fully mechanized mining face scenarios; Remote coverage, supporting the use of two stations to achieve full coverage of 5G signals in fully mechanized mining face scenarios, and a single station unidirectional coverage distance of 650 meters for 5G signals in roadway scenarios; Stable delay, providing 20ms@99.99 %Stable time delay capability, meeting the remote control requirements of coal mining machines and tunneling machines, ensuring accurate and reliable remote mining. This solution not only meets the business needs of all underground scenarios, but also significantly reduces the cost of station construction, providing a new paradigm for the construction of 5G intelligent mines. ?? This validation is another innovative breakthrough that the R&D team has achieved in the mining 5G field, following the first application of the 100GE bearer network to the entire mine in 2022. Since 2021, multiple parties have worked together to achieve "fruitful results" in the mining 5G field. We have built the largest 5G private network in the mining industry, achieved full mine coverage of the 100GE carrier network, created underground 5G high-speed transmission channels+UWB precise position navigation, and pioneered key technologies such as base station cascading and distributed multi antenna coverage, leaky cable+base station joint coverage, and mining 5G super uplink. We have advanced the construction of a network slicing application mode, bringing about innovation in intelligent mining communication technology. For many years, China Coal Science and Technology Group Coal Research Institute has continued to deeply cultivate intelligent mine communication technology, digital empowerment of intelligent mines, leading the development of industry standards for intelligent mine communication, fully breaking through the cutting-edge key technologies of mine communication, comprehensively developing a set of 5G+one network and one station integrated communication technology equipment for mining, deeply constructing intelligent mine communication application scenarios and demonstration projects, and actively exploring new models and formats of 5G+intelligent mines, Continuously promoting cross-border integration and ecological co construction with industry partners has greatly promoted the high-quality development of intelligent mines.
