The century long journey has been arduous, and we have persevered without forgetting our original intention. 2023 is the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the CPC, the first year to comprehensively implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, and the key year to promote high-quality development. In order to deeply implement the "Red Roots and Strong Foundations Project" and further deepen the regional party building work pattern of co construction, co governance, and sharing, Shamian Street focuses on high-quality development, improving the effectiveness of party building in leading urban grassroots governance, and deepening the construction of talent leisure islands, focusing on building a comprehensive party building alliance model with Shamian characteristics. In the afternoon of June 29, 2023, under the guidance of the Organization Department of the CPC Guangzhou Liwan District Committee, the Party Working Committee and the Office of Shamian Sub district, together with 19 joint construction units under their jurisdiction, solemnly held the "launching ceremony of the Shamian Party Building Alliance and activities to celebrate the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the CPC" at the Victory Hotel in Shamian. The theme of this activity is "Party building leads aggregation, integration and linkage promote development". Comrade Wei Qingxian, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Shamian Street, delivered an opening speech.
