The third Guangdong Enterprise Legal Service Forum was held in Foshan on the 16th to promote high-quality development of enterprises in the Greater Bay Area. The forum aims to build a communication and exchange platform for the lawyer industry and enterprises, promote the joint development of enterprises and the lawyer industry in the Greater Bay Area, and help create a first-class legal business environment. Nearly a thousand people, including representatives from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao lawyers, participated. The "Straits" high-speed ro ro passenger ship, which resumed direct freight transportation between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits, recently carried 11 containers of express goods from the Aoqian passenger ro ro terminal in Pingtan, Fujian, across the Taiwan Strait to Port of Taichung. This marks the official resumption of direct freight routes from Pingtan Aoqian Passenger Ro/Ro Terminal to Taiwan three years later. The future plan of the "Strait" is to open one to two weekly voyages to alternately transport goods to Taichung and Taipei, and the goods can be transported to Taiwan within 5 hours per journey. Hengqin has introduced measures to support cooperative zone enterprises to issue bonds in Macau. The Financial Development Bureau of Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone has recently officially issued the "Special Support Measures for Enterprises in Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone to Issue Bonds in Macau", encouraging and supporting cooperative zone enterprises to issue bonds in Macau. This measure will be implemented from June 20, 2023, with a validity period of three years. This method includes the successful issuance of bonds by cooperative zone enterprises in Macau through indirect means in the subsidy scope, and increases the reward ratio from 0.8% of the original fundraising scale to 2%. The construction of the second phase of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Logistics Park is expected to commence in early 2024, and the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Logistics Park project (Phase II) is expected to be fully operational by the beginning of 2024. It is understood that the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Logistics Park will be linked with the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge port in the future to achieve park inspection and the rapid release of the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge, providing strong support for the construction of a new economic and trade channel for the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge.
