The 76th World Health Assembly opens in Geneva

The 76th World Health Assembly opened on the 21st at the United Nations Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. The theme of this conference is "75 years since the establishment of the World Health Organization: saving lives and promoting health for all". This World Health Assembly will make decisions on the recent and long-term development of WHO. During the 10 day conference, representatives will review the key role of WHO in the global health emergency architecture, review progress, achievements, and challenges from last year, and future priorities for key pillars of WHO's work, including universal health coverage, health emergencies, and improving health and well-being.
