A total of 24 representative teams and 524 athletes from 21 cities, provincial vocational colleges, technical colleges, and Macao Special Administrative Region in the province gathered in Pengcheng to compete on the same stage. Shenzhen has sent a total of 45 contestants to compete in all 40 events. Event Project: The Third Guangdong Vocational Skills Competition, hosted by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government and jointly organized by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, serves the needs of industrial development in the province. The theme of this competition is "New Era, New Skills, and New Dreams", with a total of 92 competition events set up. It also focuses on professions with a wide range of applications, high skill content, and high market demand, and new competitions such as big data technology application have been established. In Hall 1 of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, competition venues such as cloud computing, graphic design technology, and 3D digital gaming art are lined up. Among them, cloud computing is the only project that publishes real-time competition scores on site, with players chasing each other and the competition atmosphere is very tense. The big data technology application project is the only new professional project in this competition, and also the single event with the highest education level. There are a total of 9 participants participating in this project, including 1 doctoral student, 3 master's students, and a total of 7 students with bachelor's degree or above. The participants are quickly tapping the keyboard in front of the computer, and they are building the basic module of big data. This event is a single player event, which is based on the national competition standards and the actual situation of the domestic industry as a reference standard. It focuses on the application of big data, and requires players to master the deployment and management of big data platform, offline data processing, data mining analysis, data collection and real-time calculation, data visualization, comprehensive analysis and other work contents. "The competition lasts for three days, involving six modules, and requires cross integration of multiple disciplines, such as cloud computing, mathematics, statistics, etc., which requires high comprehensive ability of players."
