On May 17, the provincial main venue activity of "International Museum Day" in 2023, co sponsored by Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Yangjiang Municipal People's Government, was launched in Yangjiang. Zhongshan was identified as the main venue of the 2024 "International Museum Day" in Guangdong Province, and the flag handover ceremony of the main venue was held. On May 18th, all public welfare museums in the province were opened for free.
