From May 18th to 19th, the China Central Asia Summit will be held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations 31 years ago, China and the people of Central Asian countries have maintained a thousand year old friendship, and through close exchanges, they have composed many heartwarming stories and friendly stories, which have merged into a touching movement of sharing joys and sorrows, and mutual affinity. Story 1: Xian Xinghai Avenue: There is a Xian Xinghai Avenue in the ancient city of Almaty on the ancient Silk Road, and people are reciting this story. In 1941, the Great Patriotic War broke out, and the famous Chinese musician Xian Xinghai traveled to Almaty. At a time of loneliness, poverty, and illness, Kazakh musician Baikadamov accepted him and provided him with a warm home. In Almaty, Xian Xinghai created such famous music works as "National Liberation", "Holy War", "Man Jianghong", and created the symphonic poem "Amangeld" based on the deeds of the Kazakh national hero Amangeld, which inspired people to fight against fascism and was widely welcomed by the local people. ——On September 7, 2013, an important speech titled "Promoting People's Friendship and Creating a Better Future" was delivered at Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan. Xian Xinghai and Baikadamov, a Chinese musician who only understands English, French, and Chinese, and a Kazakh musician who only speaks Russian and Kazakh, used music to write the great friendship between the people of China and Kazakhstan. In 1940, Xian Xinghai went to Moscow to post produce and score the documentary "Yan'an and the Eighth Route Army". After the outbreak of the Soviet Patriotic War, film production came to a halt and Xian Xinghai's return to China was hindered. At the end of 1942, he traveled to Almaty without a fixed residence, suffering from poverty and illness. Baikadamov sympathized with his plight, took him home, took good care of this foreign stranger, and "shared the last piece of bread" in times of need. From the end of 1942 to June 1945, Xian Xinghai absorbed the essence of Kazakh national music and created a number of masterpieces handed down from generation to generation, such as the heroic theme symphonic poem Amangeld. To commemorate the friendship between the two musicians, Xian Xinghai's house in Kazakhstan was renovated as the "Xian Xinghai Former Residence", and Almaty's Vladimir Street was renamed as "Xian Xinghai Street". Xian Xinghai Square and a monument were also built locally. The Friendship Road between Xian Xinghai and Baikadamov has also been established in the Panyu Museum in Guangzhou. The two countries co produced the movie 'The Musician', and their story was adapted to the screen.
