Individuals must bear the full share of personal and unit contributions, and paying only the contributions will cost more than 400 yuan more than participating in the insurance as flexible employees. They also need to pay service fees to institutions. At present, Huang Xi spends around 2300 yuan per month on social security, which she calls a helpless move. Huang Xi has paid the social security for four consecutive years in Beijing, but he does not have a registered residence in Beijing.
