From a monthly perspective, the electricity consumption of the whole society increased by 2.3% and 5.9% year-on-year from January to February and March, respectively. The growth rate of electricity consumption in March has rebounded significantly compared to the previous two months, partly due to the low base factor caused by the epidemic in some regions during the same period last year, and partly driven by the current stable and rebounding economic operation in China, "said the relevant person in charge of the China Electricity Enterprise Federation. Data shows that in the first quarter, a total of 26 provinces in China saw a positive increase in electricity consumption.
