Since the beginning of this year, with consumption gradually recovering and enterprises operating at full capacity, the overall electricity consumption in many parts of the country has shown positive signals. In the first quarter, the total electricity consumption in society was 2.12 trillion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%, an increase of 1.1 percentage points compared to the fourth quarter of the previous year. The growth rate of electricity consumption remained stable and slightly increased. The total electricity consumption of the first, second, and third industries is 1.78 trillion kilowatt hours, an increase of 4.2% year-on-year.
