This marks the formal operation of the terminal, which will play an important role in further promoting the connectivity of transport infrastructure in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. Pazhou Hong Kong Macao Passenger Terminal is one of the iconic direct transportation facilities in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, jointly constructed by Guangdong Port and Channel Group and Guangzhou Yuexiu Group. The terminal is planned to be constructed in two phases. Currently, the first phase will open two routes between Pazhou Hong Kong Macao Passenger Terminal and Hong Kong Zhonggang City and Hong Kong Airport Haitian Terminal, with a total journey of about two hours and an investment of about 400 million yuan. Two high-speed carbon fiber passenger ships will be invested. At present, 10 international airlines handle check-in and luggage check-in procedures at the Pazhou Hong Kong Macao Passenger Terminal, while 84 airlines handle check-in and luggage check-in procedures at the Haitian Terminal. Passengers can enjoy the one-stop "sea sky intermodal" travel service of "Guangzhou check-in, Hong Kong boarding". Now we have two round-trip flights every day, and we will gradually increase the number of routes depending on the traffic situation. "Luo Jian, Deputy General Manager of Guangdong Port and Channel Group, said that in the future, Pazhou Hong Kong Macao Passenger Terminal will also open Macau routes, further enriching the high-speed passenger routes between the central urban area of Guangzhou and Hong Kong Macao. It is reported that the second phase of the Pazhou Hong Kong Macao Passenger Terminal Project is planned to promote diversified operation. Relying on the passenger flow of the Canton Fair and the Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone, it will build a water tourism transportation complex including cross-border, intercity, island tour and the Pearl River tour. In combination with the opening of helicopter and seaplane routes, it will build a new landmark water cross-border channel and transportation and tourism hub in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.
