On April 21st, the first China Europe Green Innovation and Development Conference with the theme of "Deepening China Europe Cooperation, Promoting Green Development, and Creating a Better Future Together" was successfully held in Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province. The conference is jointly hosted by the Small and Medium sized Enterprise Development Promotion Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the China Association for International Cooperation in Small and Medium sized Enterprises, and the People's Government of Jiangmen City, and hosted by the People's Government of Heshan City. Shao Ning, President of the China Association for International Cooperation in Small and Medium sized Enterprises and Vice Chairman of the Finance and Economic Committee of the 12th National People's Congress, Liu Lihua, Vice Chairman of the Economic Committee of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and former Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology, and Chen Anming, Secretary of the Jiangmen Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Jiangmen Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Shao Ning pointed out that establishing a green partnership is becoming a new driving force and highlight of China Europe cooperation. The concept of green development between China and Europe is highly compatible, and green cooperation has broad space. China and Europe have a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises, strong development vitality, and active innovation, which are important subjects of green technology innovation. There is great potential for promoting green innovation and development for small and medium-sized enterprises. To achieve green innovation and development, it is necessary for the government, enterprises, associations, service institutions, and other collaborative efforts to work together. The China Association for International Cooperation in Small and Medium sized Enterprises will continue to play a good role as a staff assistant and bridge link, further promoting the agglomeration, greening, and internationalization development of small and medium-sized enterprises. Liu Lihua said that "green development" is not only a key strategy to deal with climate and environmental problems, but also a panacea to promote steady economic development and drive the continuous upgrading of industries. At present, China and Europe have conducted fruitful cooperation in areas such as green energy, green manufacturing, and green services, actively promoting world economic recovery and sustainable development. The construction of the "China Europe (Jiangmen) Small and Medium sized Enterprise International Cooperation Zone" provides a good reference and carrier for China Europe green cooperation. I hope that Chinese and European enterprises can work together to strengthen complementary advantages, inject more momentum into promoting the construction of the China Europe Green Cooperation Partnership, and inject more impetus into global economic recovery and green sustainable development. Chen Anming stated that Jiangmen is known as the "Capital of Overseas Chinese" and has extensive connections and close cooperation with European countries. In recent years, Jiangmen City has taken the initiative to develop a green economy, cultivate green technological advantages, and achieve new results in implementing the concept of green development. Jiangmen will seize the opportunity, focus on the construction of the China Europe (Jiangmen) International Cooperation Zone for Small and Medium sized Enterprises, actively strengthen the cooperation in green technology between China and Europe, deepen the integration of green industries between China and Europe, promote the prosperity of the green market between China and Europe, promote the integration of the business environment between China and Europe, deepen industrial, economic and technological cooperation with European countries, explore new models of green and low-carbon cooperation and development, and build a new window for Guangdong and even the country's cooperation with Europe. The Small and Medium sized Enterprise Development Promotion Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the People's Government of Jiangmen City, held a launch ceremony for the Guangdong (Jiangmen) Silicon Energy Industry Base and the Yinhuwan International Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Industry Cluster, held a unveiling ceremony for the Jiangmen Vocational Education City, and issued a three-year action plan to support the talent development of the Jiangmen "China Europe Cooperation Park".
